Waste Vegetable Oil

Yes, it is possible to run your car on used fryer grease (from a dumpster!), however, you must filter the oil and convert your car first. Several companies sell conversion kits and provide more information on conversions, including GreaseWorks, located in Corvallis, Oregon. Others include Greasecar, and Frybrid.

Currently the co-op does not sell filtered WVO, though several members are interested in making this happen. Feel free to contact us if you'd like to join in this project.
